Digital video PC camera focuses on machine vision The WiTCAM monochrome, 768 ¥ 567 square-pixel CCD camera transfers digital images at rates to 25 frames/s to a PCI-compliant interface card. This card streams digital video to PC memory without the use of a frame grabber. The camera fits all C-mount lenses and uses a single cable to carry digital video, power, and control signals to the PC. Its software-controllable capture and processing parameters include electronic shutter speed, gain, offset controls, and frame or field mode acquisition. Price is $800.
