Frame-grabber board serves machine vision A half-slot PCI-bus image-capture board, PCVision moves images to the host PC in 4 ms, providing 29 ms for free processing time, from as many as four 8-bit monochrome RS-170 or CCIR cameras. It also supports nonstandard area scan cameras to 1k by 1k either interlaced or progressive. An on-board 2-Mbyte linearly mapped VRAM frame buffer and 32-bit DMA bus master help provide a transfer rate of 100 Mbyte/s to the PCI bus. Software support includes Camera Configurator for Windows applications, ITEX driver and board function libraries, and MV Tools and VisionBlox image processing and analysis libraries.
