Motorola Semiconductor Products Sector (Chandler, AZ) is adding a 260,000-sq ft facility at a cost of $1.1 billion. The new facility will house a new 90,000-sq ft silicon fabrication cleanroom for manufacturing 0.5-µm and smaller devices.

PixelVision Inc. (Beaverton, OR) has moved into a new facility that provides an additional 14,000 sq ft of manufacturing space to handle the increased demand for the company`s CCD cameras. The company has also negotiated a joint sales and marketing agreement for North American markets with OFIL Ltd. (Ness Ziona, Israel). OFIL`s products include a line of polymer filters, ultraviolet solar blind filters, and solid-state sensors.
