The two-piece design, by way of MDR26 connectors, uses a standard Camera Link cable to connect a remote head to a processor unit. This allows the cameras to easily fit into small spaces and offers flexibility when mounting them to equipment. The Iris P-Series family is powered by an ultralow-power Celeron. It runs the Windows CE .NET real-time operating system and is programmed using Microsoft eMbedded Visual C++. OEMs and integrators can develop their applications with the Matrox Imaging Library.
