Adding to its line of microscopy illumination products, Prior Scientific has introduced the Lumen 1600-LED illumination system. Designed for fluorescence illumination, the LED 1600-LED offers individual control for 16 selectable wavelengths, making it compatible with all simple and multiband filter sets. The Lumen 1600-LED is controlled via manual keypad, TTL, USB, as well as analog input for dynamic intensity control. Excitation filters can be fitted in the optical path for controlled switching with no moving parts. In addition, the Lumen 1600-LED illumination system.has bulb life of 25,000+ hours and has multiple pre-set configurations, which allows multiple users to quickly select their optimal wavelengths.
