Fanless embedded system from Axiomtek
Axiomtek’s eBOX560-880-FL (pictured above) fanless embedded system features a multi-core 5th generation Intel Broadwell ULT System-on-Chip and multiple interface options, including four USB 3.0 and two GigE ports, and is suitable for use in digital signage, information system, kiosk, video surveillance, transportation, and other automation and embedded applications.
Industrial cameras from The Imaging Source
The Imaging Source has announced the release of the following industrial cameras, which feature the Sony full HD wide dynamic range IMX174 CMOS image sensor: DFK 23UX174 (USB 3.0, color), DMK 23UX174 (USB 3.0, mono), DFK 33GX174 (GigE, color), and DMK 33GX174 (GigE, mono).
High-speed camera from Photron
Adding to its line of FASTCAM Mini AX cameras, Photron has introduced the FASTCAM Mini AX200 high-speed camera, which features a light sensitivity of ISO 40,000 monochrome and 16,000 color. The camera is equipped with a 1 MPixel CMOS image sensor with a 20 µm pixel size and 12-bit ADC (Bayer system color) that can achieve a frame rate of 6,400 at full resolution.
Scientific CMOS camera from Andor
Featuring a quantum efficiency of greater than 80%, the Zyla 4.2 PLUS scientific CMOS (sCMOS) camera from Andor targets various microscopy applications and features a 4.2 MPixel sCMOS image sensor with a 6.5 µm pixel size that can achieve 53 fps via USB 3.0 and 100 fps via Camera Link 10-tap.
USB 3.0 camera from e-con Systems
Touted by e-con Systems, Inc. as having an "RGB-IR" pixel format, the See3CAM_CU40 USB 3.0 camera captures both visible and infrared (IR) illuminated images simultaneously. The sensor’s 2 µm OmniBSI-2 pixel architecture enables low light imaging while a quarter of the sensors 4 MPixels are dedicated for infrared light, while the remaining 3 MPixels respond to the visible spectrum.
