At SPS IPC Drives from November 24-26 in Nuremburg, Germany, Datalogic will introduce its IMPACT+ OCR industrial automation solution, which combines both smart cameras and software into a preconfigured bundle designed specifically for variable data printing inspection in the food and beverage industry. The solution includes a new model in Datalogic’s P-Series smart camera and a graphical user interface that provides setup and configuration for any OCR application. The IMPACT P19 smart camera features a 1.3 MPixel global shutter CMOS image sensor with a 5.3 µm pixel size that can achieve a frame rate up to 60 fps. Lenses and illuminators are fully interchangeable and can be mounted and replaced by the user, while five focal lengths and nine lighting options offer 45 different combinations.

Also on display at the Datalogic booth will be barcode readers, machine vision cameras, laser markers, sensors, and safety devices.
