MARCH 28--Lighting is a critical element in vision applications. Therefore, RVSI/Northeast Robotics (Weare, NH; www.nerlite.com) is offering a series of one-day, no-cost, hands-on lighting workshops--Machine Vision Lighting Workshop, at the RVSI/NER facility. The next workshop is Wednesday, April 3.

NER products use a variety of sources to complement its lighting technique. In addition to core LED (light emitting diode) technology, the sources use halogen, fiberoptic, xenon strobe, CCFL (cold cathode fluorescent lamp), fluorescent, ultraviolet, electroluminescent panels, and metal halide.
