Redlake acquires DuncanTech

JULY 19--Redlake MASD Inc. (San Diego, CA; www.redlake.com) has completed the acquisition of DuncanTech, a designer and manufacturer of high-quality digital cameras for a variety of markets including machine vision, aerial reconnaissance, and traffic. DuncanTech's technology, particularly in the areas of color processing and three-CCD optics, will facilitate Redlake's development of a number of new high-performance digital cameras for customers requiring superior image quality.

Redlake has a long history of providing customized digital cameras with outstanding image quality to industrial OEM customers and value-added resellers in a variety of highly specialized applications involving semiconductor-component inspection, flat-panel inspection, digital radiography, ophthalmology, metrology, and document conversion.
