Media Cybernetics and Vitana collaborate on Evolution LC camera kits

MAY 15--Media Cybernetics Inc. (Silver Spring, MD; www.mediacy.com) and Vitana Corporation (Ottawa, Canada; www.pixelink.com), manufacturer of PixeLINK digital cameras, will collaborate on Media Cybernetics Evolution LC camera kits. These kits combine Media Cybernetics Image-Pro software with the Vitana MegaPixel FireWire PixeLINK monochrome or color camera.

Vitana's PixeLINK all-digital cameras offer high speed, plug-and-play simplicity, interoperability, and superior image quality. By using a FireWire (IEEE 1394) interface, PixeLINK products require fewer cables and eliminate the need for frame grabbers.

Media Cybernetics Image-Pro software provides extensive data extraction and display capabilities for rendering usable data from a single image or multi-image set. Image-Pro Plus is used by researchers and engineers in medicine, science, and industry.
