16 MPixel USB 3.0 camera to be demonstrated at SPIE Defense and Commercial Sensing
AtSPIE Defense and Commercial Sensing from April 17-21 in Baltimore, MD, USA, Lumenera will hold a live demonstration of its Lt16059H USB 3.0 camera. In the demonstration, the camera will be used to provide highly detailed images of freshly cut herbs and roasted coffee beans on a live video display. The Lt16059H features a 35mm 16 MPixel ON Semiconductor KAI-16070 4-tap CCD image sensor with a 7.4 µm pixel size that can achieve a frame rate of 12 fps in overclocked mode. The camera’s "dual-gain high dynamic range" (HDR) implementation outputs the same frame processed through two different gain amplifiers, which produces a crisp merged image with no ghosting effects.
