At Photonics West 2016, Ajile Light Industries will showcase its Ajile system, which features industrial cameras, lighting drivers, structured light projectors, system management software, and a master controller with timing, triggering and smart processing. The system has a range of six possible cameras, either USB 3.0 or GigE, featuring the CMOSIS CMV2000 (2 MPixel, 340 fps at full rsolution), or CMOSIS CMV4000 (4 MPixel, 180 fps at full resolution), in other mono, color, or NIR-enhanced versions. With the master controller—which features a Xilinx Zynq with twin ARM cores and FPGA—users can manage the cameras, projectors, and lighting drivers, and control the timing and triggers. Additionally, the system features on-board smart processing capabilities, including user-configurable Ajile pipeline processing on the FPGA, the ability to generate images for projection, and process images from the camera. The Ajile system is suitable for use in industrial automation, robotics, 3D imaging, spectroscopy, medical imaging, and other imaging applications.
