High-speed cameras from iX Cameras now compatible with NI data acquisition systems

Nov. 28, 2016
National Instruments (NI) data acquisition (DAQ) systems are now compatible with the i-SPEED 7 series of high-speed cameras from iX Cameras.

National Instruments (NI) data acquisition (DAQ) systems are now compatible with the i-SPEED 7 series of high-speed cameras from iX Cameras. Users can integrate NI DAQ through the i-SPEED Software Suite 2.0 with their cameras, which reach frame rates of up to 12,500 fps in full resolution and 1,000,000 fps in reduced resolution. By connecting the i-SPEED 7 sync and trigger connections to the DAQ hardware and using the Control Multi-DAQ software to configure the data channels, the camera will automatically lock to the synchronization pulses sent by the data device and a live graph will start updating. Start a recording, trigger the camera, and save the video and data using Control software. Additionally, users are provided with the option to use multiple configurations of DAQ boxes to suit specific application needs.
