Rugged cameras from Imperx presented live at VISION 2016
Among the products Imperx showcased at VISION 2016 was the new Tiger 47 MP camera, which was designed for flat panel inspection and aerospace applications.
The camera features a 47 MPixel CCD image sensor from ON Semiconductor which has a 5.5 µm pixel size and has a dynamic range of 64 dB. The camera is capable of 7 fps at full resolution and can be deployed in a number of different applications, according to Nathan Cohen, Head of Business Development at Imperx.
Additionally, the company showcased its Cheetah CMOS cameras, which feature sensors ranging from 6 MPixel to 25 MPixel and frame rates up to 160 fps using Sony Pregius and ON Semiconductor PYTHON image sensors.
