USB 3.1 and GigE Vision cameras from IDS Imaging Development Systems on show at VISION 2016
At VISION 2016 in Stuttgart, IDS Imaging Development Systems will debut a number of new industrial cameras, including a line of USB 3.1 cameras with Type-C connectors. The first models include the UI-3860LE camera, which is based on the Sony STARVIS IMX290 CMOS sensor, as well as the UI-3880LE camera, which will faeture the 6 MPixel Sony IMX178 STARVIS sensor. In addition to these, IDS will showcase its new GigE uEye FA camera, its first GigE Vision camera, as well as the new Ensenso X 3D stereo vision camera. IDS will present a number of demonstrations at its booth, showcasing the possibilities and features of the cameras, including bin picking, pallet detection, and a multi-camera system with 16 USB 3.0 cameras.
