• Latest 3D smart sensors from LMI Technologies to be on display at VISION 2016

    3D smart sensors with 2 MPixel camera, embedded processor, and blue lasers from LMI Technologies to be shown at VISION 2016.

    LMI Technologies will showcase its newly-launched Gocator 2400 series of 3D smart sensors at VISION 2016 in Stuttgart from November 8-10. The 3D sensors, which are currently available in the Gocator 2410 and 2420 models, feature a 2 MPixel camera with up to 1940 points/profile resolution. The blue-laser profiling sensors—which are designed for electronics and small parts inspection—feature an X resolution of 6 µm and repeatability down to 0.2 µm, as well as a field of view of up to 32 mm and a measurement range of up to 25 mm. Additionally, the 3D smart sensors feature a GigE interface, a speed of 400 – 5000 Hz with windowing, an embedded processor, and IP67 industrial housing.
