Ocean Optics releases ultraviolet microspectrometer

Nov. 28, 2013
Ocean Optics’ STS-UV is a 50 mm x 50 mm ultraviolet microspectrometer with a wavelength range of 190-650 nm and a signal-to-noise ratio of >1500:1 which can be used for quality control measurements of as part of a lab station.

Ocean Optics’ STS-UV is a 50 mm x 50 mm ultraviolet microspectrometer with a wavelength range of 190-650 nm and a signal-to-noise ratio of >1500:1. The STS-UV is based on a 1,024-element detector in a crossed Czerny Turner optical bench and features a CMOS image detector. STS-UV microspectrometers can be integrated into other devices or can be set up next to a process line for quality control measurements of as part of a lab station. Users and integrate the STS-UV using software control options such as drivers for LabVIEW and MATLAB, to DLLs for direct control of the spectrometer in Java, Linux or Windows. In addition, all STS spectrometers are compatible with Ocean Optics’ OceanView spectroscopy software.
