Marshall Electronics introduces tiny 1080i camera

Marshall Electronics’ CV500-MB i1080i broadcast camera measures 36.5mm x 36.5 mm x 35mm and weighs 50 grams and features a 2.2 MPixel Sony Exmor CMOS image sensor.

Marshall Electronics’ CV500-MB is a 1080i broadcast camera that measures just 36.5mm x 36.5 mm x 35mm and weighs just 50 grams. The CV500-MB features a miniature high definition prime lens and a 2.2 MPixel Sony Exmor CMOS image sensor, which enables the camera to operate at low lighting conditions, including 0.5Lux (color), and 0.1Lux (Black and white) with Sens-Up (30X) technology, which ensures images as low as 0.02Lux. In addition, the cameras feature on-board video enhancement features such as wide dynamic range, digital noise reduction, high light compensation, auto white balance, and digital defog. CV500-MB cameras are suitable for use in a variety of broadcast/multimedia applications, as well as industrial applications.
