Kappa Optronics’ latest camera, the Tauri2, is a small HD camera that can be switched to any full HD format, interlace or progressive. The camera features a Kodak KAI 02150 2/3" interline transfer CCD progressive scan image sensor with 5.5 µm x 5.5 µm pixel size. Without an infrared blocking filter, the 1,920 x 1,080 pixel camera features a 350 nm – 1050 nm spectral sensitivity. The Tauri2 also features a global shutter, a lockable C-Mount lens, a 64 dB dynamic range, and full HD multi-format, which is switchable by software command. Tauri2 cameras are suitable for use in extreme environments such as external flight monitoring, as well as motorsports broadcasting and industrial applications.
