QuickScan Lite QW2100 imagers were released in some markets in early 2012, but now the linear imager—which was created for reading long and truncated bar codes—is available worldwide. QuickScan Lite is a small, ergonomically-designed reader that features Datalogic’s “Green Spot” technology, for good-read feedback seen directly on the code. The wide-scan angle imager features USB and keyboard wedge/RS-232 interface, rubber molding and IP42 water and particulate sealing, and drop resistance to 1.5 m / 5 ft. These scanners from Datalogic are suitable for use in retail, document/invoice processing, banking/finance environments, and light manufacturing applications.
