Varioptic launches wide angle auto focus M12 lens module

Varioptic’s new Caspian M12-316-3.7 is the latest addition to the Caspian family of auto focus lens modules. The modules are suitable for use in machine vision, security, biometrics, and medical imaging.

Varioptic’s new Caspian M12-316-3.7 is the latest addition to the Caspian family of auto focus lens modules. The module integrates a fixed lens module and an Arctic 316 variable focus liquid lens in an M12 receptacle (S-mount), and is compatible with up to 1/3" image sensors. In addition, the M12-316-3.7 features a 3.7mm effective focal length, built-in auto focus actuator from 7 cm to infinity, and an optical built-in infrared filter. These auto focus lens modules are suitable for use in machine vision, security, biometrics, and medical imaging.
