Edmund Optics releases compact instrumentation imaging lenses

Nov. 1, 2013
Edmund Optics’ new TECHSPEC compact instrumentation imaging lenses include f11 and f16 lenses with 16mm, 25mm and 35mm focal lengths and are designed specifically for volume integration into applications such as analytical medical devices, including benchtop-based blood analyzers.

Edmund Optics’ new TECHSPEC compact instrumentation imaging lenses include f11 and f16 lenses with 16mm, 25mm and 35mm focal lengths. Both lenses have a maximum image sensor format of 2/3” and a field of view (with a 2/3" sensor) of 61.4 mm – 30.9°. These 40.8mm C-Mount lenses provide flexibility for depth of field and throughput for a variety of applications. In addition, the lenses feature low lens-to-lens variation and offer a broadband anti-reflection coating for maximum light transmission. The lenses also have an adjustable, lockable focus, which enables users to set the best focus position prior to integration. TECHSPEC compact instrumentation imaging lenses are designed specifically for volume integration into applications such as analytical medical devices, including benchtop-based blood analyzers.
