Gardasoft gains US sales and marketing leadership for machine-vision and ITS markets

Cambridge, UK-based industrial LED designer and manaufacturerGardasoft Vision Limited has announced that in March, John J. Merva will join the organization as the company's US-based sales and marketing manager, responsible for managing Gardasoft's growth in the US market for LED light controllers, high-intensity LED line lights, and LED traffic illuminators. The company intends to address increasing demand for its LED illumination sources and controllers from the machine-vision and intelligent transportation systems (ITS) sectors in North America.

A 25-year veteran of the machine-vision and automation sectors in North America with a focus on lighting and cameras and background in system design, Merva has worked for Advanced illumination, CCS America, Tattile, and RVSI. His market experience includes printing; semiconductor/eletronics, pharmaceutical, medical device, automotive, and general manufacturing, high-speed packaging; and food and beverage, biomedical, intelligent traffic, surveillance, and logistics.
