Pleora Technologies (Ottawa, ON, Canada) and Phase 1 Technology (Deer Park, NY, USA) have signed deal that gives US-based OEMs and systems integrators access to and applications support for Pleora's video networking solutions for Sony block cameras. Phase 1 will distribute and provide applications support for these Pleora solutions in all US regions.
The solutions transform Sony block cameras into high-performance, fully compliant GigE Vision and GenICam products, allowing them to transport imaging data over high-bandwidth Ethernet-based video networks in real-time, with low and consistent latency.
"Phase 1 has an experienced team of applications experts and a strong presence in the US industrial imaging community," says George Chamberlain, President of Pleora Technologies. "The Phase 1 team is well equipped to advise OEMs and systems integrators on how Pleora's interface solutions for Sony block cameras can simplify deployments, improve efficiencies, and save money."
"When combined with Pleora's solutions,” says Rusty Ponce de Leon, President of Phase 1 Technology, “Sony's block cameras become ideal for opportunities in the medical, surveillance, and traffic markets that need video networking, ease of use, and a digital output."
Pleora's networking solutions for Sony block cameras are based on the iPORT SB-Pro IP engines and the eBUS SDK, with its eBUS Universal Pro driver.
