CSF5M7C3L18NR, an advanced remote-head FireWire B camera, utilizes the Foveon X3 layered CMOS sensor containing 5 million photodetectors, each responsive to full color spectrum. The Foveon sensor "stacks" color pixels on top of one another, increasing the sampling density in the image plane, and detects red, green, and blue light at each pixel, resulting in freedom from color aliasing artifacts. The CSF5M7C3L18NR has a 29-mm remote head.
