GigE Vision camera combines speed and resolution

The GE1050 is a high-resolution CCD camera with GigE Vision interface capable of running at 60 frames/s at 1000 x 1000 resolution and faster using area of interest (AOI) readout. The camera incorporates Kodak's KAI-01050 Megapixel, 1/2-in. optical format, progressive-scan CCD sensor with low-noise architecture, high smear performance, and electronic shutter. The camera is fitted with a C-mount with adjustable back focus and is available in color or monochrome. Applications include industrial inspection, machine vision, medical imaging, ophthalmology, traffic imaging, and OEM applications. The interface allows cable lengths of up to 100 m using Cat5e cabling. The cameras are compatible with software from Matrox Imaging, MVTec Software, National Instruments, Norpix, Stemmer Imaging, and others.
