AUGUST 22, 2008--Point Grey Research Inc. (Richmond, BC, Canada; www.ptgrey.com), a provider of advanced digital camera systems, has announced the relocation and expansion of its corporate headquarters to a larger, more modern facility in Richmond.

Effective immediately, the Vancouver headquarters has moved to a 2-acre property in Richmond, just minutes from the Vancouver International airport. The new, state-of-the-art 41000-sq.-ft. (3809 m2) facility is three times the size of the previous building, which the company says will allow for more rapid growth.

Vladimir Tucakov, director of sales and marketing at Point Grey, says, "Moving to the new facility directly supports our plans for future growth in North America, Europe, and Asia. We are excited about having significantly more manufacturing and production space, which allows us to have larger cleanroom, assembly, and testing facilities; room for future SMT line expansion; and an enhanced prototyping area. Customers can expect to see substantial benefits from the move and expansion such as increased production capacities, faster response times, and enhanced customer support."
