Zoom cameras have fast frame rate

June 19, 2008
Line of cost-effective FireWire VGA and XVGA zoom cameras have a 4.8—46-mm motor zoom lens, auto iris, and one-push autofocus. Zoom and focus are set by stepper motors, thus all adjustments can be reproduced. All camera functions are software controlled and can be set either manually or automatically via an easy-to-use interface. Optionally, the cameras can be equipped with a ringlight system, which can be powered by the camera.
