Digital camera records at high speed

Phantom V12 digital camera can record 1 million pictures per second with a specially designed 1280 × 800 high definition CMOS sensor built specifically for high-speed imaging applications. The camera features an active pixel size of 20 µm coupled with improved quantum efficiency and submicrosecond shuttering down to 300 ns (optional). Eight gigabytes of high-speed dynamic RAM comes standard.

The camera features an active pixel size of 20 µm coupled with improved quantum efficiency and submicrosecond shuttering down to 300 ns (optional). Eight gigabytes of high-speed dynamic RAM comes standard, with the option to upgrade to 16 or 32 Gbytes. To view recordings immediately, the Phantom V12 has a video-out port that users can connect to a component video monitor. Recordings can be displayed in NTSC, PAL, SDI, and high-definition 720p.
