APRIL 11, 2008--Sony Europe's Image Sensing Solutions (ISS) division is extending its commitment to Eastern Europe with a new network of distributors across the region. "Eastern Europe represents a significant growth opportunity for Sony ISS, and this is a strategic commitment to build close lasting relationships with both partners and customers," said Gary Quinn, senior manager for the region.
Sony ISS's new Eastern European distributor network already includes partners in several territories, including business media based in Moscow, Russia; Tayama based in Katowice, Poland; Elvia based in Prague, Czech Republic; and Mitax based in Budapest, Hungary. These partners have been carefully selected to provide local support for integration of Sony ISS news and products based on their detailed knowledge of their individual industrial markets and, most importantly, local language for communication.
Sony Europe's Image Sensing Solutions division has an in-depth range of component cameras and image sensing products. Products include color and monochrome CCD video cameras for analog and digital (IEEE 1394 and Camera Link) vision systems. This division is based in the UK and France and continues to be supported by more than 25 years of design and development.
