Camera analyzes IR scenes

May 21, 2008
IMSPEC, a new camera for spectral analysis of infrared scenes, enables the combination of an infrared image (3-5- or 8-12-µm bandwidth) with spectral analysis of the signal. This imaging spectroradiometer gives infrared images at 15 different wavelengths with up to 150-Hz frame rate. It can be used for measurement of moving and fast objects (0.2-µm spectral resolution).
