MAY 1, 2008--Point Grey Research (Vancouver, BC, Canada; www.ptgrey.com), a manufacturer of advanced digital camera systems, has announced the appointment of Voltrium Systems Pte. Ltd. as its sole distributor in Singapore and Malaysia. Headquartered in Singapore, Voltrium Systems (www.voltrium.com.sg) will market, sell, and support all Point Grey products in Singapore and Malaysia, including Point Grey's line of IEEE 1394 (FireWire) cameras and accessories.
"Southeast Asia represents a rapidly growing market for Point Grey, particularly as users in the region become more aware of the quality, ease of use, and value they receive with our products," says Vladimir Tucakov, director at Point Grey Research. With immediate effect, Voltrium Systems, managed by Kenny Goh, will be the first point of contact and handle all product inquiries, orders, and technical support for Point Grey's customers in Singapore and Malaysia.
