IR camera provides surveillance

Feb. 19, 2008
Panoramic infrared (IR) vision system, VIGISCAN, is designed for surveillance of security perimeters. It includes a sensor head rotating continuously at 1 round/s for 360° azimuth coverage, ensuring that no event is missed in large areas in total darkness or fog. Dedicated software enables display in real time, zoom of selected zones, and automatic alarm on intrusion or scenery changes. The operator does not need to manually orient the camera.
