Theia introduces C-Mount ultra-wide undistorted varifocal lens

Theia Technologies has announced the release of the ML183M C-Mount version of its popular SL183 varifocal lens, which is designed for /3” (6.0mm) to 1/ 2.5” (7.2mm) image sensors and is suitable for use in machine vision and security and surveillance applications.

Theia Technologies has announced the release of the ML183M C-Mount version of its popular SL183 varifocal lens, which is designed for 1/3” (6.0mm) to 1/2.5” (7.2mm) image sensors in models up to 5 MPixels. The lens will provide a horizontal field of view from 77° to 115° with less than 1% barrel distortion. This F/1.8 manual iris lens also provides a 1.8 to 3 mm varifocal focal length and is IR corrected for day/night cameras. In addition, the ML183M provides a 0.5m minimum focus and features a pan focus distance of 1m to infinity. ML183M variofocal lenses are suitable for use in machine vision and security and surveillance applications.
