InfraTec will showcase a number of its latest thermal imaging technologies, including the ImageIR infrared camera and the VarioCAM HD infrared camera, at the General Police Equipment Exhibition and Conference (GPEC) in Leipzig, Germany from September 9-11. One of the technologies on display will be InfraTec’s ImageIR 8300/9300 Z cameras. These cameras feature 640 x 512 or 1280 x 1024 pixel Indium Antimonide (InSb) detectors, GigE Vision/RS232/USB 2.0 interfaces, and have a spectral range of 3.7 µm x 4.8 µm and a pixel size of 15 µm x 15 µm.

Also on display will be the VarioCAM HD camera, which features 1024 x 768 uncooled microbolometer focal plane array detector, a spectral range of 7.5 µm to 14 µm, and a temperature measurement range of -40°F to 2,192°F. The VarioCAM also has a number of interfaces, including GigE, DVD-D, C-Video, RS232, WLAN, USB 2.0, and Bluetooth.
