XIMEA launches line of Thunderbolt machine vision cameras

As part of its xiLab concept of concept cameras, XIMEA has launched its xiT Thunderbolt technology-ready cameras, which feature CMOS image sensors from Sony and CMOSIS.

As part of its xiLab concept of cameras, XIMEA has launched its xiT Thunderbolt technology-ready cameras, which feature CMOS image sensors from Sony and CMOSIS. The MT200MG-CM (mono) and MT200CG-CM (color) cameras are equipped with a 20 MPixel CMV20000 CMOS sensor from CMOSIS which has a 6.4 μm x 6.4 μm pixel size and achieves a frame rate of 32 fps. The MT023MG-SY (mono) and MT023CG-SY (color) cameras are equipped with Sony’s 2.35 MPixel IMX174 sensor which has a 5.7 μm x 5.7 μm pixel size and achieves a frame rate of 165 fps. With Thunderbolt technology, data is streamed directly through the cable, eliminating the need for frame grabbers.
