At SPS IPC Drives in Nuremberg, Germany, ISRA VISION will showcase its Area Profile Scanner 3D (APS3D, pictured), its MONO3D camera, and its SHAPESCAN3D sensor. The APS3D sensor supports measuring fields of up to 460 x 380 mm with an accuracy of >10 µm and can be used for automated 3D data generation, 3D point cloud generation, and data meshing up to comparison with CAD data.
The MONO3D, which can be used for 3D robot guidance and 3D gauging, is a single camera that can recognize all six degrees of freedom of an object and features a pre-calibrated sensor, LED illumination, and a GigE interface. Lastly, the SHAPESCAN3D sensor, which can be used for bin picking in robotics applications, is a stereoscopic-based 3D sensor with 3D object recognition at all depth levels. It features a fixed-mount sensor with a GigE interface, accuracy down to a few millimetres, and a scan time for the total volume of a container of less than four seconds.
