In September, Vieworks relocated to a new facility in Anyang-city, Gyeonggi-province, South Korea in a move that the company says will improve production capacity.
The new facility will provide better working conditions, more space, and additional support to the company, particularly in the research and development center. The relocation to one of the most accessible cities in Korea is expected to give positive impacts on the company’s aspiration for growth to a global level as a leading imaging solution company, according to a Vieworks press release.
Vieworks also expects that the expanded area will provide more space for quality assurance systems, which will in turn minimize field quality issues and aid in the development of new products. Lastly, Vieworks also announced a change in corporate identity and slogan ("Imaging Expert"), in order to express the company’s pursuit to be an expert in the machine vision industry.
