Teledyne DALSA has announced the release of the first model of its new Rad-icon series of CMOS X-ray cameras. The Rad-icon 1520 camera features a 1548 x 2064 pixel array with a 99 µm x 99 µm pixel size and active area of 15.3 x 20.4 cm. The camera also features a GigE or Camera Link interface, 30 fps frame rate, 14-bit digitization of images, energy range from 10 to 225 kV, 5 lp/mm resolution, and software development kit, drivers, and programming support. Rad-icon 1520 cameras are suitable for use in industrial X-ray inspection, scientific imaging, and non-destructive testing applications such as weld inspection, wire bond, and printed circuit board inspection.
