FLIR launches A310 ex flameproof infrared camera

FLIR has announced the release of the A310 ex infrared camera, which is housed in a protective, flameproof enclosure that is designed for use in potentially explosive situations.

FLIR has announced the release of the A310 ex infrared camera, which is housed in a protective, flameproof enclosure that is designed for use in potentially explosive situations. The A310 ex is equipped with a 320 x 240 uncooled microbolometer detector with a 25 µm detector pitch. The camera also features a 7.5 µm – 13 µm spectral range and achieves a frame rate of 15 fps. In addition, the camera has an integrated controller with several digital I/O channels and sensors for temperature, humidity, and pressure readings, onboard measurement functions, streaming MPEG-4 video, built-in heater, and IP76 protective housing. Potential applications include condition monitoring, fire or flare detection, and quality control.
