The ultracompact SR700 sensor series weighs 200 g, with a robust housing that is suitable for integration in robotic environments. Multiple sensors can be set up together in applications such as “best-fit” procedures for installing moveable parts in automotive body manufacture. Custom sensors may also be built according to system needs, including specialized software and variations in sensor architecture.

NEW PRODUCT PRESS RELEASE

On the occasion of upcoming trade show Vision 2012, taking place Nov 6 - 8 in Stuttgart, Germany, SmartRay GmbH will be launching its new sensor series SR700. Due to its ultracompact build ― similar to that of a light barrier ― and a total weight of merely 200 grams, these highly robust scanners are particularly suited for use in robotic environments. The SR 700 series fully displays its advantages when space is limited or when several sensors are used, for example in “best-fit“ procedures for the precise installation of moveable parts in car body manufacture. Developed for a broad and cost-sensitive spectrum of use, SR700 sensors offer impressive precision and scan rates at best value.
