MARCH 19, 2009--An enhanced software developer's kit (SDK) for the SVCam GigE camera lines features new functionalities such as auto tap balancing. At dual output sensors this feature automatically adjusts differences in intensity between the taps without any intervention by the user. Multicast and broadcast features provide image data to a variety of PCs for parallel processing. In addition to Borland Builder 6.0 and MS Visual C++6.0 and 8.0 development platforms, Borland Delphi 7 is now supported. For all platforms a functional example program in source code allows the customer a fast and easy entry. Improvements in the GigE filter driver now open up methods for efficient work with boards and on-board-interfaces with non-Intel chipsets and/or without jumbo frame support. An included viewer-software reduces the installation procedure of the SVCam cameras to plug-and-play.

PRESS RELEASE
March 2009
SDK for GigE Cameras again Improved
With the new Software Development Kit SVS-VISTEK GmbH offers very attractive improvements for its SVCam GigE camera lines. These improvements pretty much facilitate the integration of the cameras into the customer's software.
The most important new functionality is the so called Auto-Tap-Balancing. At dual output sensors this feature adjusts differences in intensity between the taps completely automated, without any intervention of the user. This works reliable for every single frame and at
changing image content and intensity.
Via the multicast and broadcast feature the image data of a camera are provided to a variety of PCs for parallel processing. Besides the development platforms Borland Builder 6.0 and MS Visual C++6.0 and 8.0, Borland Delphi 7 is now also supported. For all platforms a functional example program in source code allows the customer a fast and easy entry.
Improvements in the GigE filter driver now open up ways for efficient working with boards and on-board-interfaces with non-INTEL-chip sets and/or without jumbo-frame-support.
An included viewer-software reduces the installation procedure of the SVCam-cameras to a simple plug-and-play job. During the implementation sequence the detailed documentation leaves no space for undesirable surprises.
