AUGUST 11, 2009--A higher-resolution sensor has been added to the line of Matrox Iris GT smart cameras. The sensor on the Matrox Iris GT1900 is a 1600 x 1200-pixel @ 15 frames/s 1/1.8-in. monochrome CCD. Powered by an Intel 1.6-GHz Atom processor, it runs Windows CE 6.0 and features an integrated graphics controller with VGA output, 256-Mbyte DDR2 memory, and 1 Gbyte of flash memory. Like other sensor configurations, Iris GT1900 is housed in a dust-proof and washable IP67-rated casing.

Matrox Iris GT smart camera line-up now includes high-resolution sensor
July 16, 2009, Montreal, Quebec, Canada - Matrox Imaging is pleased to announce the addition of a higher-resolution sensor to its line of Matrox Iris GT smart cameras.
"Many applications require higher resolution to acquire the entire area of interest in a single image - yet maintain the resolving power needed to perform necessary tasks such as reading multiple 2D codes," explains Fabio Perelli, Product Manager, Matrox Imaging.
