AUGUST 6, 2009--A new LED lighting company, LLD Trading Associates (Milford, NH, USA; www.lldlight.com), has been formed to distribute products in the US that are manufactured by IMAC Machine Vision Lighting (Moriyama, Japan; www.kkimac.jp).
The new company was created by five equal partners: Mamoru Tanaka, president of IMAC; Sachio Kiura, president of Symco (Tokyo, Japan; www.symco.co.jp); Marcel Laflamme former manager for Nerlite; Sheila Dunn, former engineering manager for Nerlite; and Greg Dwyer former product manager for Nerlite.

Laflamme says the partners believe that the machine vision market will slowly revive in the next four or five quarters and that numerous small businesses will venture into the marketplace. The goal of his company is to provide the US market with high quality lighting products at reasonable prices.
