NOVEMBER 4, 2009--AMBRA is an integrated device for environmental multiparameter monitoring of buildings and automation activities. Microwave radar records motion in a range of 10 m; a radar collects environmental temperature and another measures air moisture content. Audio components include a double-sensor microphone for audio analysis and voice/sound recording and a speaker for audio playback. The video sensor captures images and a proximity lighting double system is equipped with high-efficiency LEDs. AMBRA is also able to shoot environmental video with an integrated camera. The DSP chip supports high processing capacity with the operating system TOS (Tattile Operating System) and several algorithms for analysis of events, hazards, and critical situations.

TATTILE News – Security Division

TATTILE PRESENTS AMBRA:
THE NEW INTELLIGENT MULTIPARAMETER DEVICE
FOR SECURITY

Multisensory analysis, embedded technology and low power consumption for the surveillance of buildings and environments

AMBRA is the latest innovation presented by Tattile Security Division during Sicurezza Show.
It is an integrated device for the environmental multiparameter monitoring of passages and entrances, premises, buildings and activities. Externally it looks like a common emergency lamp - for shape and size - but inside it hides multiple technologies integrated with multisensory logic.

AMBRA is equipped with a microwave radar that records the approaching of someone in a range of 10 meters, a radar for the accurate collection of environmental temperature, another one to measure air moisture content, a double-sensor microphone for audio analysis and voices and sounds recording, a video sensor for images shot, a speaker to play sounds and messages, as well as a proximity lighting double system equipped with high efficiency LED technology.

The high integration of such a large number of sensors and technologies, unique in his sort and first in the world, ensures a lower environmental aesthetic impact in engineering achievements, a high degree of accuracy in reporting of events and critical situations, a reduction in system overall consumption, lower costs of design, installation and maintenance of facilities, a high degree of environmental and engineering automation.

AMBRA is also able to shoot environmental video thanks to an integrated camera. The brain of the machine is composed of a DSP chip that, while ensuring low power consumption, guarantees a high capacity for processing and computational work with the operating system TOS (Tattile Operating System) and several algorithms of analysis of events, hazards and critical situations present aboard the device.

This innovative multi-function system, thanks to Tattile Building System (an advanced software for supervision and management), can interact with other safety equipment and other environmental control subsystems through different vectors of communication (Ethernet, ZigBee - Wireless, Input and Output digital, serial port) and can also communicate via the data network with a remote supervision centre.

AMBRA finds its main field of application in active monitoring of multiple environmental factors measurable and observable in a room, building or activity, being able to keep under control multiple parameters, thanks to the various sensors on board.

It turns to be a very useful tool for supervision and local and remote surveillance of stores and shopping malls, museums, churches, exhibitions and art galleries, hotels, residences, hospitals, clinics, SPA, ships, boats, industrial environments, EDC and unattended technological room.

AMBRA: a single system can now solve Many Safety, Security and Building Automation issues.
