OCTOBER 6, 2009--The AccuStream Express 170 frame grabber and video streamer features a high-performance PCI Express x4 board design. The board acquires from DVI, RGB, YPbPr, HDTV, and monochrome video sources up to 170-MHz pixel rates. This includes 1080p HDTV, 1600 x 1200 pixels, and other standard and nonstandard high-resolution video formats. It is designed for the high-speed PCIe x4 bus and delivers sustained data transfers of 750 Mbytes/s. This is exceeds what is required to deliver full 1080p HDTV video at 60 frames/s. It achieves pixel jitter of +/-0.5 ns and a signal-to-noise ratio of 47 dB.

Foresight Imaging Introduces AccuStream Express 170 Frame Grabber & Video Streamer
(Chelmsford, MA - August 7, 2009) Foresight Imaging announces the AccuStream Express 170 frame grabber and video streamer, a high performance PCI Express x4 board design. The AccuStream Express 170 acquires from DVI, RGB, YPbPr, HDTV, and monochrome video sources up to 170 MHz pixel rates. This includes 1080p HDTV, 1600 x 1200, and other standard and non-standard high resolution video formats. It is specifically designed for the high speed PCIe x4 bus and delivers sustained data transfers of 750 MB per second. This is more than enough to deliver full 1080p HDTV video at 60 frames per second.
"Our multimedia, medical, & military imaging customers are continuously pushing for faster and faster transfer rates. Our AccuStream Express 170 is our first of many PCIe designs that produce industry-leading transfer rates. With our 750 MB per second data transfers, we are easily delivering what our customers are demanding: full 1080p video at 60 frames per second," said Tony Molinari, Vice President, Sales & Marketing.
About AccuStream Express
AccuStream Express delivers the highest accuracy DVI, RGB, YPbPr, HDTV, & monochrome video, and the highest performance PCIe x4 data transfers for demanding imaging applications. It supports pixel input rates up to 170 MHz and up to 2048 x 2048 pixel resolution. It accepts up to three monochrome or one RGB, YPbPr, HDTV, or DVI video input from non-standard and standard video sources. Video digitization is 8 bit monochrome or 24 bit color.
For superior accuracy, AccuStream Express features extremely low pixel jitter of +/-0.5 ns and a signal-to-noise ratio of 47 dB. Powered by its high speed PCIe x4 bus mastering design, scatter-gather technology, and double buffering, AccuStream Express supports 750 MB/second sustained PCIe x4 bus transfers to accommodate the most demanding video streaming applications.
Active RGB, YPbPr, DVI, or monochrome loop-through output is provided to eliminate the need for a separate, active video splitter. AccuStream Express supports simultaneous real-time display via real-time transfer of images directly to display card memory. AccuStream Express is offered in three versions: AccuStream Express 170 for video inputs up to 170 MHz, AccuStream Express 75 for video inputs up to 75 MHz, and AccuStream Express 50 for video inputs up to 50 MHz.
AccuStream Express is available now.
