IRVINE, CA, May 11, 2009 -- Toshiba Teli America, Inc., the North American subsidiary of Toshiba Teli Corporation, has introduced its fastest, highest resolution Gigabit Ethernet machine vision camera to date, the new CSGU15BC18. Capable of capturing 1600 x 1200 (UXGA) uncompressed monochrome images at 15 frames-per-second (fps), the CSGU15BC18 sets a new standard for its class.
The CSGU15BC18 is part of the company's industry-leading line of GiantDragon GigE cameras. With features that include random shutter mode and scalable "Region Of Interest" to run at far faster fps, it is ideal for industrial inspection and machine vision applications, and is especially well-suited for high-speed electronics and LCD inspection, 3-D measurement, OCR, medical imaging, gauging and intelligent transportation systems.
The camera's GigE Vision compliant interface makes the CSGU15BC18 virtually plug-and-play.
