APRIL 6, 2009--A new range of lasers is available with wavelengths of red, green, blue, and IR with output powers up to 200 mW. The lasers feature 5-30 VDC operation, with voltage, spike, and reverse polarity protection. At any voltage within this range, the lasers can be modulated both analog and digitally simultaneously, at frequencies of up to 20 MHz. This allows the laser intensity to be varied whilst also enabling the laser to be synchronised with a camera or other equipment. A built-in microcontroller and serial interface facilitate the logging of temperature, operating hours, and other data. A simple, external hand-focusing mechanism and thread-mounted barrel for easy and versatile mounting are designed specifically for OEMs. LED laser operation and prefailure indicator ensure the user is aware the laser is in operation, and replacement lasers can be installed prior to machinery equipment failure. Rated at IP67, the laser is suitable for applications that require washing down of the equipment. Additional accessories include precision mounts, brackets, and universal power supplies.

PRESS RELEASE

NEW PRODUCT - RGB lasers for the vision, measurement, scientific, medical and alignment industries

Z-LASER has introduced a new range of advanced lasers to target the more complex markets. The lasers are available with wavelengths of red, green, blue and IR with output powers up to 200mW.

With these new lasers, the user no longer has to settle for a particular operating voltage as they feature 5-30VDC operation, with voltage, spike and reverse polarity protection. At any voltage within this range, the lasers can be modulated both analogue and digitally simultaneously, at frequencies of up to 20MHz. This allows the laser intensity to be varied whilst also enabling the laser to be syn-chronised with a camera or other equipment. Furthermore, the sophisticated electronics feature a built-in micro controller and serial interface facilitating the logging of temperature, operating hours etc.

OEMs will appreciate the simple, external hand focusing mechanism the lasers provides as well as the Thread-mounted barrel for easy and versatile mounting. Furthermore, the laser provides an LED laser operation and pre-failure indicator ensuring you are aware the laser is in operation and replacement lasers can be installed prior to the machinery equipment failing.

Rated at IP67, the laser is Ideal for applications which require washing down of the equipment!

Additional accessories include precision mounts, brackets, and universal power supplies.
