Canon USA showing four CMOS sensors at SPIE DCS 2019

Canon USA will be exhibiting four CMOS image sensors at SPIE DCS 2019. The upcoming 2U250MRXS is a 250 MPixel, APS-H format rolling image sensor with a pixel size of 1.5 µm, that provides 5 fps at full resolution. It will be available in RGB and monochrome formats.

Canon USA will be exhibiting four CMOS image sensors at SPIE DCS 2019. The upcoming 2U250MRXS is a 250 MPixel, APS-H format rolling image sensor with a pixel size of 1.5 µm, that provides 5 fps at full resolution. It will be available in RGB and monochrome formats.

Canon will also show the following:

  • The 120MXS rolling shutter CMOS image sensor features a 2.2 µm pixel size and 120 MPixel progressive scan, with a 9.4 fps maximum frame rate.
  • The 3U5MGXS global shutter CMOS image sensor features a 3.4 µm pixel size and 5 MPixel progressive scan, with a 120 fps maximum frame rate.
  • The 35MMFHDXS rolling shutter CMOS image sensor features a 19 µm pixel size and 2.2 MPixel progressive scan, with a 60 fps maximum frame rate.

All three sensors are available in RGB color, RBG + IR color, or monochrome.

Canon USA will show at SPIE DCS 2019 in Booth #1024.
