The CS3821D, a remote-head monochrome camera, is engineered for vision applications where mounting space is restricted or a lightweight camera is needed. It features industrial-grade ruggedness, 60-frame/s output at full VGA resolution (659 × 494), and the capability to mount the 17 × 36-mm remote head up to 2 m away from the control unit. The remote head can be mounted on the end of a robot arm, a positioning stage, or a gantry.

CCD with square pixels, along with double-speed technology, gives output at high frame rates while maintaining 52-dB S/N ratio and minimum subject illumination.
